ABOUT: Written over October 24 and 25, this song was a lot of fun to write and fell into place very quickly. Like most of the tracks on this release I had a general idea about where I wanted to go, as well as a tone I wanted to achieve. As I played the piece for the first time I also had this very real sense of dropping paint on a canvas instead of notes on paper, and from that came the title. I always intended this track to be included on this Christmas time EP, even though it is not specifically a holiday song. |
