ABOUT: Standing Alone In A Room was came about during some sort of a mood, although I had no idea what was happening in the song. I was enthralled with the bouncy rhythm and felt it captured a spirit of hopeful desperation. Months after initially writing the piece I was humming along and sang the words "standing alone in a room". I still didn't know what it meant, but the lyric stuck and became the song title.

This track has never been released before, although it was originally slated to go on THE SECOND HALF OF THE JOURNEY -- it was bumped after the title song for the CD was written and the bouncy mood of STANDING ALONE IN A ROOM no longer fit into the somewhat more somber CD that the JOURNEY recording became.
